Care Instructions!

These unique and handmade pieces are made with real and natural plants, carefully coated or encased in UV-Resin - and as such - each piece should be handled with care.

The flowers and plants used are real and natural, and will therefore change colour over time.

To try to maintain their vibrant colours and strength, store them in a cool and dark space, such as a jewellery box outside of direct sunlight.

Avoid direct or prolonged contact with water, perfumes, oils & lotions, as this can dull the shine and affect the metal used for any findings in your piece.

Remove before any strenuous activities (which may make you sweat!), bathing or sleeping.

Only clean surfaces gently with a soft, dry cloth. In some instances you may want to use Isopropyl alcohol & a lint free tissue, but only if you're prepared for a less shiny surface.

Avoid wearing on really, really hot days! UV-Resin is a plastic - and can melt/soften during extreme heat, when the piece then cools, your piece can become brittle, and easily break.

What to do if it breaks?

Avoid dropping and scraping to the best of your ability, but accidents do happen!

Thankfully, pieces will mostly have clean breaks, which can (in most cases) easily be repaired with UV-Resin or Clear-Gel Polish.

Metals:

To my best effort I have advised what metal is used for each piece, note that I do not use sterling silver, gold filled or premium types of metals to keep the cost of what I make down - only plated & treated base metals such as Alloy, Surgical Steel, Brass & Stainless steel.

Please do not expect the metals used in the jewellery to act as premium metals.

Daily & Routine Cleaning of Metals:

Deep clean periodically: Wash with warm water and a small drop of mild soap (like Dawn). Rinse thoroughly and pat completely dry with a soft cloth.

Wipe after wear: Use a soft, lint-free microfiber or cotton cloth to gently remove sweat, body oils, and perfumes.

Acids and polishes: Do not use metal polishes (which strip or scratch PVD) or leave strong acids like vinegar, lemon juice, or wine sitting on the surface for extended periods Your Sweat is also an ACID, so do not wear if you are having an exceptional warm day.

Metal Exposure & Water:

Water resistance: Surgical Steel & PVD coating resists water and sweat much better than standard electroplating, meaning occasional showers or brief exposure are generally fine. If your jewellery is not PVD Coated, avoid wearing in any forms of water for longer periods of time.

Minimize chemicals: Avoid heavy exposure to chlorine (pools/hot tubs), salt water, bleach, ammonia, and alcohol-based perfumes or lotions. Put on perfumes and cosmetics and make sure they're dry before your jewellery.

Dry it off: If the piece gets wet from sweat or water, gently dry it with a soft cloth rather than letting it air-dry with residue on the surface.
